Microscale Hub

 logo hub

The light microscopy hub provides technical and scientific support for projects that require light microscopic analysis, including live and fixed tissue imaging, as well as advice and practical help on histological procedures.

Subcellular, cellular, and circuit-level imaging are key technologies in analyzing the spatiotemporal characteristics of how neuropathology unfolds. We support structural and functional imaging from the planning (all aspects of tissue preservation and staining) to the analysis stage of a project. We specialize in in situ enhanced-resolution microscopy, in vivo biosensor applications, and large-scale circuit imaging. In addition, the hub engages in new technology establishment and development (e.g., optical pulse-chase20,186; optimized enhanced-resolution CLEM).
