Magdalena Götz receives the Future Insight Prize 2025

Merck, a leading science and technology company, awarded the 2025 Future Insight Prize to Magdalena Götz. The award – a € 250,000 research grant – recognizes Götz’s pioneering work in the field of regenerative neurobiology, particularly the discovery of how to reprogram glial cells into functional neurons, opening up new therapeutic approaches for brain repair.
