Four SyNergy members have been recognized as leaders in neuroscience in Germany

On 13 May 2025, Research.com released the fourth edition of the world's best scientists in neuroscience, to recognize researchers making key breakthroughs in neuroscience. Four of SyNergy’s members have been recognized with a “Neuroscience in Germany Leader Award”.

The yearly list introduces top figures from labs, universities, and institutions worldwide. Our four members who received the award are Christian Haass, Martin Dichgans – who also received a Medicine in Germany Leader Award –and Magdalena Götz and Arthur Konnerth.

For the 2025 edition, experts reviewed data from over 9,000 scientist profiles. These came from trusted bibliometric sources. The rankings are based on a mix of performance indicators, including impact, productivity, and influence within neuroscience. These data points ensure the final list reflects real contributions and lasting scientific value.
