FORSCHA 2024: SyNergy participated as an exhibitor at successful three-day science fair in Munich

What does a neuron look like, and what is its function? How can you recognize Alzheimer’s Disease in the brain? We answered these questions and more at FORSCHA – the annual Munich science fair held at the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum from 28-30 June. Approximately 8,000 visitors of all ages attended this year to learn about science and research.
Using pipecleaner to make a neuron model

Using pipe cleaner, our researchers taught children about the form and function of neurons. Furthermore, a microscope enabled visitors to explore what Alzheimer’s plaques in the brain look like. We were joined by the other Munich Clusters of Excellence (e-conversion, ORIGINS, and MCQST), who also offered creative and engaging insights into their research.
